Who we are
Dan Moranville started mowing neighbors’ lawns as an entrepreneurial 10-year-old in Dearborn Heights in 2001.
Dan relaunched his lawn care business as Motor City Mowing in 2024. He is committed to using 100% electric equipment and serves his neighbors in the Grosse Pointe communities, Harper Woods, Eastpointe, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, and Detroit.
Dan operates multiple small businesses, one of which earned a spot Yelp’s Top 100 Small Businesses in the United States in 2024.
Dan’s wife Aimee manages the home office, and their son Andrew helps with flyers and morale.
